Keiko is Yusuke's best friend in the anime...even if he won't admit it, she is the only one that has been there for him through it all...she actually saved his body from a fire! Yes, his body, he was dead at the time, and she was also the one to revive him through a kiss...he owes her a lot, but he has also saved her a few times...she seems to be the only one who has actually helped him through life...his mother didn't/doesn't *she drinks constantly and is never home*
